Not sure when I will next update this collection of semi-inspired, mostly insipid, musings. More than likely I will work on the site while I am on the East Coast, enjoying some much need rest. But I may not.

On The Current Climate And The Fall
Look very carefully at this picture.
The very familliar scene of Adam and Eve in the act of taking from the forbidden tree, to eat of the fruit. We all know it by heart. They eat, the possiblity of Sin is actualized in the world, they freak out, play fast and loose with the truth when God confronts them, and get tossed out of the garden for all eternity, and a linebacker sized angel with a firey sword dares them to step foot within Paradise again.
However I omitted something from the story. It’s in the picture. It’s very important. It speaks towards the very essense of who God is. Any guesses?
Nakedness.
Oh yes, now we remember: they freaked out because they were naked and ashamed.
Now I will not speak towards the symbolic and theological implications of this as they have been heard time and time again. I wrote an entire essay on the metaphyical and cosmological realities of why we wear clothes (later to discover Don Miller has also spoken of this in Searching For God Knows What, but I got here first), but I will say this about God, His relationship with us, and our nakedness: Snow is the result of The Fall.
Proof simplified (using all my philosophy knowledge):
(P1) God = good
(P2) Snow = cold
(P3) Naked + Cold = Not good
(Con) Therefore, No Snow.
So while you sled, ski and snowboard just remember: you are basking in the bounty of SIN!!!!

Trapped in the snow = grading and site changes.
