The powers that be have cut my philosophy class for the upcoming year. They cite numbers as the problem, though I have another class right now with less numbers than those signed up for Phil next year, and the fact that students told me their “guidance counselors” specifically told them not to take the course.
All I will say about it.
Come this time next year they will regret that decision, of that I can be sure. And I will seriously enjoy watching the fallout, while I build up a class for the following year, or move to another school.

Unbridled rage . . .
Though a student bought me lunch on friday because she could see I was pissed off and stressed out. This was before the news came down the pipe, but nonetheless, full stomach helped not throw deaf, old back out of retirement morons through walls because we have no windows.
Wow. What lead up to this? People don’t do malicious things like that just for fun, so why are the guidance counselors against philosophy?
